SPECIFICATIONS:

 

 Angle frame mirror shall have a one piece, roll-formed, 18-gauge, type 304 stainless steel angle frame with corners heliarc welded, ground and polished smooth to a uniform satin finish. Select float glass mirror shall be guaranteed for 15 years against silver spoilage.

Channel frame mirror shall have a one piece, roll-formed, 20-gauge, type 304 satin finish stainless steel channel frame with tightly mitered corners. Select float glass mirror shall be guaranteed for 15 years against silver spoilage.

Angle Frame Mirror
3⁄4" x 5⁄8" (19 x 16 mm) roll formed 18 gauge type 304 stainless steel angle has corners heliarc welded, ground and polished smooth to a uniform satin finish. Mirror is installed on concealed hanging bracket that locks onto top and bottom of frame by tamper-proof set screws. Back plate is one piece, attached to frame with theft resistant locking device. Frameless Stainless Steel Mirror
Fabricated of 20 gauge type 304 stainless steel polished to a #8 minor finish with a 1⁄4" (6 mm) return. Provided with 1⁄4" (6 mm) thick concealed tempered masonite backing and 4 mounting holes. Installer shall provide mounting screws to suit individual field conditions. See chart for standard sizes.

D Lexan Dura-Mir™ — Fabricated of 1⁄4" (6 mm) polycarbonate sheet.
E Plexiglas® — 1⁄4" (6 mm) acrylic plastic, lightweight and shatter-resistant.
L Laminated glass 1⁄4" (6 mm) thick.

Designers Note: All of the above glazing options are particularly suited to applications where frequent breakage and/or security problems exist. These surfaces are best specified for use in prisons, schools, police stations, psychiatric wards, etc. where shards of broken glass might possibly be used as weapons. The reflective quality of these types of mirrors is not as true as plate glass.
